Kakching, January 19 2025:
The Kha-Maikei Light Vehicle (Passenger) Service Association has appealed to all concerned organisations to refrain from imposing monetary demands to the association.
The association in a release highlighted that the drivers of the association are facing hardships and struggle for their livelihood amid the crisis in the State.
Many of the drivers are unable to pay the monthly EMIs of the vehicle since there are less number of passengers and sometimes left empty pockets while returning home due to no passengers, added the secretary of the association.
Stating that the association will extend the support of providing the vehicles when any State issue arises, however if the organisations concerned fail to comply with the appeal of the association, it will resort to "no steering" agitation.
