AMWJU condoles Daiho Mao

Media fraternity in Manipur under the aegis of All Manipur Working Journalists' Union (AMWJU) has expressed sorrow over the news of passing away of Shuli Daiho Mao of Nagaland Post in an unfortunate incident at Kohima on Sunday.
A senior journalist and Kohima Correspondent of Nagaland Post, Shuli Daiho Mao, died Sunday afternoon at Oking Hospital Kohima after being attacked by a swarm of hornets in Mezoma Saturday evening.
He was 37 and left behind his wife and three minor children.
Late Daiho entered the profession in 1995 and worked with The Shillong Times, then later as Kohima Correspondent of the Asian Age before joining Nagaland Post in 2004 .
The body of late Daiho was taken to his native Shajouba under Senapati district Manipur Sunday evening, and the funeral service was held today morning.
In a statement, AMWJU President A Mobi said that passing away of Daiho Mai is a loss to the media fraternity as a whole.
"We, the journalists here in Manipur share the grief stricken family members of the late journalist.
Our prayers will always be with late Daiho Mao's wife and his three little children.
May the good Lord takes care of Daiho' soul," the statement added.
