Thoubal, November 16 2019: A one-day seminar on 'Re-orienting Training & Education Through Success Stories' jointly organized by The Oriental Women's Cooperative Society Limited in association with NCUI - Cooperative Education Field Project (CEFP), Thoubal under the sponsorship of National Co-operative Union of India (NCUI), New Delhi was held today at Kshetri Shanglen, Thoubal which is located in front of Thoubal PS .

The Seminar was attended by Registrar, Co-operative Societies, GoM, Robert Singh Kshetrimayum (IAS) as chief guest while Chairperson of NCUI - Project Coordination Manipur who is also vice-president of Manipur State Cooperative Union Imphal, Jeena Potshangbam attended the seminar as functional president and Deputy Registrar, Co-operative Societies, GoM, O Jiten Singh, District Co-operative Officer Thoubal T Khongnem Singh and project officer, NCUI - CEFP Thoubal, Th Pahari Singh as guests of honour.

Chairperson NCUI-PCC Manipur, Jeena Potshangbam moderated the technical part of the seminar while project officer, NCUI-CEFP Thoubal, Th Pahari Singh acted as Rapporteur.

Farm Guidance Instructor of NCUI - CEFP Thoubal, Phulchand Moirangthem and LM of NCUI - CEFP Thoubal, K Bidyabati Devi presented papers on how to enhance productivity of agriculural products using suitable and effective fertilizer followed by a paper presentation on how to market the hand-made products in the market so that maximum return is realised including various Govt scheme for the farmers.

As part of the seminar, certificates were also distributed to successful candidate who have undergone training on Diploma in Co-operative Management at NCCE, New Delhi followed by distribution of Nano fertilizer of IFFCO to the farmers.
