Imphal, September 15 2022: A Chief Medical Officers meeting was convened today at Lamphel attended by Health and IPR Minister Dr S Ranjan Singh.

The joint meeting was attended by all CMOs of Manipur except CMO of Jiribam.

Additional Chief Secretary, Manipur V.Vumlunmang, IAS; Director of Health Services Manipur, Shasheekumar Mangang; Director of National Health Mission, NHM, Manipur, Somorjit Ningombam shared the dais with the Health Minister.

Officials of the Health Department were also present at the meeting.

During the meeting, the national campaign on TB Mukt Bharat Abhiyan, the Chief Minister's Haksel For All, CMHA, present status of blindness in the State and others were minutely discussed.

Speaking at the occasion Dr S Ranjan said that coordination amongst the officials and staff of the department is necessary and highlighted the need of delivering sincere services by the officials.

The Minister urged the officials to shoulder their responsibilities for a better health care system in the State.
