Imphal, June 13 2011: Pradhan of Lamjaotongba Gram Panchayat Th Sumanta, who has been awarded with Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Rashtriya Samata Puruskar, 2011, was felicitated during a reception function jointly hosted by Khamnam Leirak Manung Lampak Development Committee and Cachar Road Athletic Union, Khamnam Bazar at Khamnam Leirak community hall yesterday.

The award has been presented to Pradhan Sumanta in recognition of his service to the people of his Gram Panchayat.

Senior Account Officer, Accountant General, Manipur Ayekpam Iboton Singh and chairman of Khamnam Leirak Manung Lampak Development Committee Khundrakpam Kalachand Singh were respectively chief guest and president of the reception function which was also attended by Section Officer, PWD, Manipur Naorem Saratchandra Singh and social worker and advisor of Cachar Road Athletic Union Naorem Joykumar Singh as guests of honour.
