Literary meet held at Kanggui Christian College

One-day literary meet on the theme "Inclusive Society" was held at Kanggui Christian College, Kangpokpi on Wednesday.
The programme was jointly organised by Manipur North Economic Development Association (MANEDA); Disabled Peoples' Organization (DPO); Senapati Disabled Peoples' Association Manipur (SDPAM) and All Disabled Union Sadar Hills (ADUSH).
Dr Ngamkhohao Haokip, General Secretary Sadar Hills Private schools Association, Phakim Misao, Secretary, Light House School Kangpokpi and T Peter Rangnamei Chief functionary MANEDA as Chief Guest, Guest of Honour and President respectively.
N Dima Singh of Saint Francis De Sales School Daily Village bagged first position; Paojahao Kipgen of HM Higher Secondary School, Keithelmanbi village bagged second position; Hoineihat Haokip of Elite Higher Secondary School bagged third position; Chongngaikim Singsit of Elite Higher Secondary School Kangpokpi bagged fourth position and Lamneichong Singson of Diamond English High School Kangpokpi bagged fifth position in essay writing competition respective.
While Kimboilhing Chongloi of HM Higher Secondary School Keithelmanbi; Kasim Limbu of Emmanuel School Haipi and Satgougun Kipgen of Diamond English High School Kangpokpi bagged first, second, third, fourth and fifth positions in extempore speech.
On the other hand, Kamginhao Kipgen of Elite Higher Secondary School Kangpokpi; Andrew Siwa of Kids Foundation Kangpokpi; Manjil Thapa of Saint Francis De Sales School Daily Village; Seigouhao Lhouvum of Morning Star English School Saparmeina and Ch Mahesh Meitei of Saint Francis De Sales School Daily Village bagged first, second, third, fourth and fifth in the painting competition respectively.
Over 10 private schools of Sadar Hills Sub-division participated in the programme.
