L Dikho inaugurates two Multipurpose community buildings in Mao

Senapati, March 12 2025: Two multi-purpose community buildings were inaugurated by MLA Losii Dikho on Tuesday morning at Robunamei Village and Punanamei Village under Song Song Sub-Division, Senapati District.

The newly constructed infrastructures will benefit with indoor games facilities apart from conference halls and large meeting halls.

The Mao AC MLA inaugurated the Northern Mao Union building at Okai, Robunamei Village in the presence of NMU leaders, church leaders and Village elders.

At Punanamei which is the native village of MLA Losii Dikho inaugurated the building located near Zhekhu football ground.

Speaking on the occasion, Losii Dikho stressed on the need to develop such community infrastructure to accommodate different facilities including indoor sports and public gatherings.

He was in full praise for Special Contractor, Heshu Choro who was instrumental in constructing both the buildings and delivering in time despite difficulties faced.

He noted that the NMU building will bring together the different villages and also neighbouring villages to promote unity and prosperity amongst the Mao community.

Indoor games like Badminton and other games will greatly benefit our youths while meeting halls will serve as a place to discourse development, peace and unity among the people, he added.

Assuring more developments in the region, Losii Dikho stated that, with people's support any developmental works are possible.

He asked the villagers to fully and purposefully use the newly inaugurated facilities.
