UCM condoles demise of Babasana

Imphal, September 11 2024: The United Committee Manipur (UCM) has condoled the demise of Yumnam Yaipha (Babasana) Meitei, who was the former president of Meitei Society Churachandpur from 2006 to 2010 .

UCM, in a message, said that they convened a condolence meeting presided by its president YK Dhiren to mourn the demise of Babasana today at its office today.

The meeting which was also attended by UCM central committee members observed silence as a mark of respect to the departed soul.

UCM said that Babasana worked for the well being of all the communities living in Churachandpur during his lifetime.

The Committee also stated that Babasana also worked with UCM on different occasions to keep the unity and integrity of Manipur intact.

Sharing the pain and grief of the bereaved family, the UCM prayed for the departed soul to rest in peace.
