Free skill training programme to begin at Senapati today

Senapati, September 11 2019: A free skill training programme for plumbing, painting and decoration, initiated by the SD Industries Construction Training Centre with NSDC Certificates under Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY), is all set to commence tomorrow at Rikhumai Taphou, near Bank of India, Senapati.

The training programme aims to train the unskilled and unemployed youths and produce employable skilled youths and increase working efficiency in the State.

Highlighting the benefits of the training programme, S Digbijoy Sharma, CEO of SD Industries Construction Training Centre said that by the end of the course a recognised certification course by NSDC will be given which can be used in applying any Govt jobs and avail the benefit of Mudra loan as well.

He also added that skilled trainers from each field will train the youths and will also extend all possible help to enable them stand on their own in life.

RK Dhaneshwor Singh, CE and Sukumar Chingangbam will give training on printing and decoration sector while Rajesh Salam will give training on plumbing sector.

According to a report, so far 70 candidates have registered out of 240 seats for the two months course which will consist 3 days class in a week with a duration of 2 hours per day.
