Indian Bank honours S Mirabai Chanu

Imphal, August 11 2022: On the occasion of its 116th foundation day, Indian Bank felicitated weightlifter Saikhom Mirabai Chanu who won a gold medal in the Commonwealth Games-2022 held at Birmingham at her residence at Nongpok Kakching today.

A team of Indian Bank visited her and presented her with a memento, citation and gifts.

Manipur Olympic Association and staff of Indian Bank were present at the occasion.

Saikhom Mirabai Chanu expressed contentment for the honour and thanked the Indian Bank team.

Such kind gestures encourages her to strive for more and bring laurels to the State, she added.

She also assured to continue to work hard and make the State proud in future as well.
