Tengnoupal, September 10 2021: Veterinary & Animal Husbandry Services, Government of Manipur organised a one day awareness programme on 'Foot mouth disease & Brucellosis' at Conference Hall, Hill Tribal Council, Moreh on Friday.

The event organised under National Animal Disease Control Programme (NADCP) was attended by Hill Tribal Council president, Jangmang Haokip; Meetei Council Moreh president, M Thoiba; Vety & AH Manipur, Joint Director (Adm) NG Ibotombi; Sub-division Veterinary Hospital Moreh deputy director, Dr Donkhanlal Zomi; Veterinary Office Thoubal joint director, Dr RK Khogendrajit and Chandel District Animal Farmer Welfare Union president, K Prakash Maring.

During the programme, experts gave awareness on vaccination of animals and ways to keep the animals healthy.

Later, a technical session was also conducted by the Department to interact with the participants.
