Imphal, August 09 2022: The 7 Sisters Foundation, the organizer of Miss Shirui Lily 2022, has clarified that the foundation has started paying the prize-money to winners of Miss Shirui Lily 2022 from August 5 .

Responding to media reports regarding non-payment of prize money to the winners of the beauty pageant, the foundation issued the clarification today in a statement and added that despite some delay, the organizer has initiated the payment from last Friday.

It may be recalled that Levin Luithui from Langdang village, Ukhrul was crowned Miss Shirui Lily 2022 while RH Dorina and Dorothy Maram were adjudged the first and second runner-up in the first edition of Miss Shirui Lily organised by the 7 Sisters Foundation under the Shirui Lily State Festival Entertainment Sub-committee.

The beauty contest was christened Miss Spring in the first three editions of Shirui Lily Festival.

Levin Luithui walked away with a cash prize of Rs 3 lakh while Miss Dorina and Miss Maram were assured a cash prize of Rs 2 lakh and 1 lakh respectively.

The nine other titles (Miss Beautiful Smile, Miss Beauty with Brain, Miss Popularity, Miss Congeniality, Miss Perfect Body, Miss Active, Miss Photogenic, Miss Catwalk and Miss Model), on the other hand, carried a cash award of Rs 30,000 each.
