Man injured in pro-ILP agitation calls for help

Shanglakpam Sunanda (35) s/o Dhana of Lairikyengbam Leikai Salan Thong who sustained injuries during the pro-ILPS agitation on July 10 has sought the assistance of all concerned towards his medical treatment.
Sunanda sustained injury on his left shoulder when a mock bomb exploded beside him when State police cracked down upon protesters at 2nd IRB gate along Khuman Lampak Stadium road on July 10 .
He was admitted to JNIMS hospital and was later referred to Shija Hospital on August 20 and an operation was conducted for his ruptured radial nerve.
Speaking to media persons today at his residence, Sunanda stated that after the incident two operations have been performed on him and yet there is no sign of recovery.
On the advice of doctors from Shija Hospitals, he underwent physiotherapy treatment under the supervision of Suchitra of the hospital for the last many days.
He added that he is administered pain relief medication from October 2 and yet there is no indication of any improvement and the doctors are suggesting to wait for the results.
"In such conditions it is hard to wait and watch my hand go thinner and thinner day- by- day," stated the father of three children, the sole bread earner of the family.
Sunanda has sought the help and assistance of all concerned for further treatment.
