Telangana, October 07 2024:
The All India Tanzeem-E-Insaaf (AITI) National Council discussed the Manipur crisis in detail during its National Council meeting and passed four resolutions to restore peace in the State.
The AITI National Council meeting was held at Shubam Convention Hall, Mahbubnagar in Telangana from October 5 to 7 .
During the meeting, All India Tanzeem-E-Insaaf (AITI) Manipur State Council represented by Md Islahuddin, National Secretary, submitted a memorandum to the National Council of AITI narrating the details of the ongoing conflict in Manipur and seeking Nation-wide support to bring normalcy in the State without any further delay.
After minute discussion on the subject, the AITI National Council expressed shock over the failure to rein in the restive situation in the State since May 3, 2023 by both the State and Central agencies.
Concerned with the establishment of peace and tranquility and to save the integrity of Manipur, the National Council of AITI has resolved to:
1) convey the ongoing issues of Manipur to the Prime Minister and Home Minister by creating necessary pressures to them through press and electronic media
2) to stage democratic agitations in all the states having AITI units as a step to build pressures and draw the attention of the State Governments
3) call for imposition of necessary and adequate laws and orders along all the State, National and International Highways passing through the State of Manipur as a step to curb the activities of different illegal organisations collecting illegal taxes from the vehicles, and
4) implementation of necessary policies to protect the integrity of Manipur.
