Thangjakam Misao elected VC of ADC Sadar Hills

A veteran Congress leader from Saikul and an elected member of Autonomous District Council, Sadar Hills from Saikul District Council Constituency, Thangjakam Misao has been declared Vice Chairman of ADC Sadar Hills today.
Misao was elected uncontested.
The election of the Vice Chairman was held today at the conference hall, of SHADC Kangpokpi at about 12.30 pm.
Haokholal Hangshing, who had earlier been declared Chairman of ADC Sadar Hills declared Thangjakam Misao as the Vice Chairman of ADC Sadar Hills.
Subsequently, the ADC Sadar Hills Chairman administered the oath of office and secrecy to the newly elected Vice Chairman in the presence of other elected members and Chongpu Kipgen, MCS, Chief Executive Officer, Sadar Hills Autonomous District Council, Sadar Hills before awarding the certificate of election.
Thangjakam Misao was proposed for the Vice Chairman post by Lunthang Haokip, elected member from Gamnom Sapormeina DCC and seconded by Lamminthang Kipgen, elected member from Keithelmanbi DCC.
President of District Congress Committee, Sadar Hills Thangjakam Misao has been elected member of ADC Sadar Hills for three consecutive terms and he was also the general secretary of Sadar Hills District Demand Committee for 15 years.
Haokholal Hangshing, Chairman ADC Sadar Hills conveyed his gratitude to all the Members, district council staff and officials in making the election of the Vice Chairman peaceful and successful.
Thangjakam Misao said that his elevation to the post of Vice Chairman uncontested signifies that all members of ADC Sadar Hills are committed to work collectively and peacefully in the coming five years for the development of Sadar Hills.
