Bishnupur, December 06 2024: An incoming ceremony was held yesterday at Wangoo Terakhong Community Hall to accord a warm welcome to over 80 voters from 27 families who joined the BJP as supporters of Kumbi AC MLA S Premchandra.

The voters, who were reportedly active workers for different political parties, are from Wangoo Terakhong Gram Panchayat Polling Station No 29/26 (A) and 29/27 (B) .

The ceremony was organised by BJP Kumbi Mandal and witnessed the attendance of MLA S Premchandra; Seram Angousana, president, BJP Kumbi Mandal; W Thoiba, secretary, BJP Kumbi Mandal; Amom Keshorjit, Pradhan, Wangoo Gram Panchayat and Potsangbam Baleshwar, Pradhan, Wangoo Terakhong Gram Panchayat as the presidium members.

Welcoming the new members, the MLA presented them with a BJP scarf each.
