PFI greets all on Ramjan

Imphal, July 06 2013 : With the advent of Ramjan, Popular Front of India (PFI) Manipur State has extended its greetings to all the people, particularly the Muslim community in the state.

In a statement, PFI appealed to all the organisations, clubs and others not to impose any general strike or bandh during the month of Ramjan and also urged the state government to take necessary measures to ensure regular water and power supplies as well as to prevent from any unwanted incidents during the holy fasting month.

Meanwhile, congratulating CBI for bringing out the truth of fake encounter behind the killing of Ishrat Jahan, PFI, in a separate statement, said that such display of impartial investigation will surely strengthen the trust of the masses on the investigation process.

PFI also condemned the ousting of the first democratically elected president of Egypt by armed forces.
