LNC-M lauds Chief Minister

The Liangmai Naga Council, Manipur (LNC-M), apex organisation of Liangmai community in Manipur, has extended its heartfelt gratitude to Chief Minister N Biren Singh for his love and support rendered to the Liangmai Naga community by declaring Chaga Ngee as a restricted State holiday on October 30 .
The Liangmai body also thanked Awangbou Newmai, Minister of Forest and Environment, Climate Change and Sericulture for his relentless efforts in ensuring Chaga Ngee was recognised as a restricted holiday in Manipur.
"That, on October 30, of every year the Liangmai tribe celebrates Chaga Ngee as one of the biggest festivals," said LNC while adding, "it is a festival of purification or sanctification and rededication of life to God" .
"Under the able and visionary leadership of the Chief Minister, the state has notably improved and peace has now been restored, thus ensuring a true democratic system in the State," it asserted.
