Indira Gandhi Natiuonal Tribal University Students' Welfare has said that it will resort to class boycott and pulling out of students en masse if its demands are not fulfilled.
The students are on strike since September 3 last in pursuit of various demands.
They are demanding immediate shifting of temporary campus to Makhan, removal of incumbent VC, declaration of recent recruitment of faculties null and void.
They are also pressing on to provide adequate faculties, infrastructures, faculty members and class rooms, framing of clear-cut ordinance of the varsity with separate reservation policy for tribals, immediate appointment of Regional Director of the university from among tribals and nomination of member of IGNTU-RC-Imphal from tribal community to the Executive Council.
