Lamka, October 04 2013 : Barely twenty days before the Zomi Council is set to host the 3rd World Zomi Convention at Lamka, a lead up event for the convention will be held at SYO Hall here with the promise of giving a clear sneak-peak on the actual events that will witness several thinkers, intellectuals, educationist and visionaries deliberating on the future of Zomis.

Organisers said the lead up event will be preceded by a mammoth press briefing at Zomi Council office here to clear the air on run up to the conventions which will have global ramification.

Seminar grounded on the theme 'be a blessed nation' will be held from 11am with various local dignitaries and Church leaders set to address the event.

The Convention, which organisers insisted will not be political in nature unlike its preceding conventions, is intended and expected to ensure that the Zomis are the blessed nation and of blessing for others.
