30 stranded migrant workers sent from Moreh

Moreh, June 04 2020:
Altogether 30 migrant workers from Bihar who were stuck at Moreh due to the Nationwide lockdown on account of the COVID-19, have left the place today on a bus.
The Bihar bound bus was flagged off from the office of Additional Deputy Commissioner Moreh by ADC L Manikanta with a transit pass issued by Joint Secretary (Home), reports our correspondent.
All the migrant workers, who thanked the ADC Moreh for helping them well during the long period of their stay at Moreh, were screened by a medical team of Moreh Hospital before they boarded the bus.
Meanwhile, Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisation Manipur handed over rice, dal, salt, potatoes, sugar etc to the leaving migrant workers via ADC Moreh.
The items were sponsored by Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust Prasanthi Nilayam Andhra Pradesh under the guidance of Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisation, India.
The team which handed over the relief items to the ADC included president of Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisation Manipur, Ch Phalguni Singh; State youth coordinator, L Ashini Chandra and a member of Disaster management team, Dayananda Singh.
