KCP leader Lanheiba brought to Imphal

Lanheiba Meetei Secretary, Military Affiars of a group of KCP (MC) who was arrested from Beltola area of Guwahati was brought back to Imphal today by a Manipur police team led by Imphal West Deputy SP, S Ibomcha in a Jetlite flight.
A police source said that Khwairakpam Gopendro alias Gojen alias Lanheiba (40) son of Sangoijao of Keirenphabi under Kumbi Police Station was arrested by Guwahati City Police on the night of June 28 from a house at Beltola.
Police recovered a PC, 14 SIM cards, seven mobile handsets, ' 55,000 cash in Indian currency, some Bangladesh currency and a credit card from his possession.
State police brought him back in relation with different bomb attacks in Imphal areas including Raj Bhavan.
Lanheiba is prime accuse of a bomb blast at Babupara on April 24, 2008 which injured five persons and another bomb attack at Ragailong which claimed 18 lives, two bomb attacks in Raj Bhavan, another blast at Telipati area which injured a woman and a blast at Lamlong Keithel.
Imphal police team received the team led by DSP, S Ibomcha who arrived at Tulihal Airport at 2.15 pm and escorted Lanheiba to the Imphal PS.
