ABDM will be a game-changer in health sector: Dr Sapam Ranjan

Health, Family Welfare and IPR Minister Dr Sapam Ranjan Singh has expressed that Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ADBM) will be a game changer to boost the health sector in the country.
The Minister made the statement during the "1-Day Training Program for Facility Managers of Government Health Facilities on ADBM Building Blocks.
DHIS and Scan & Share", organised by Digital Mission Manipur at Hotel Classic Grande, Chingmeirong Imphal, today.
Speaking on the occasion as the chief guest.
Dr Sapam Ranjan stressed on the strengthening of digital platforms in the health sector.
He said that acknowledging the importance of health care in the country, the Government has been focussing on the use of the digital platform.
"Registration and Downloading of Covid Vaccination Certificates through registered mobile numbers is a unique feature of the digital revolution in the health care system in the country.
Keeping data and records of the Covid vaccination has been made possible through Cowin App", he added.
Pointing out that regular review of health schemes is also required, Dr Spaam Ranjan suggested, "The registration of health facilities should be increased.
The concerned health facilitators need to take aggressive efforts to streamline the use of Artificial Intelligence.
Awareness through the media will be quite effective".
Speaking as the president, Dr Chambo Gonmei, Director, Health Services, Manipur, asserted that attention of the private health partners may be drawn to increase and improve the health facilities.
"Regular training of the health facilitators will help to achieve the set target.
The Health Department is also taking initiatives at the maximum", he added.
Dr M Dinesh Singh, State Mission Director, National Health Mission Manipur & ADBM graced the occasion as guest of honour.
Facility managers of Government Health Facilities from different districts of the State were also present at the event.
