KSTC penalised two for selling wildlife

Senapati, December 02 2019:
To protect and preserve wild lives in and around Karong-Senapati area, Karong-Senapati Town Committee (KSTC) nabbed two women for selling wild lives including 2 deer and 2 flying foxes at Senapati Bazaar today.
The 2 women were set free after they were fined and warned that they would be handed over to the Police if they indulge in such crime again.

The committee stated that the Karong-Senapati Town Committee had earlier taken a resolution to protect and preserve wild lives in and around Karong-Senapati area under Wildlife Protection Act, 1972 by banning hunting and selling of it.
Further, the committee also asked all to report to the office if they find anyone selling wild lives in and around the Karong-Senapati Town areas.
