Give report copy to petitioners : Supreme Court

New Delhi, July 02 2013:
In continuation of the hearing on extra judicial killings in Manipur, the Supreme Court today ordered that a copy of the Santosh Hedge led three member commission's inquiry report to the apex Court on the said petition/case be given to the petitioner EEVAM, the State Government and the National Human Rights Commission, who were subsequently asked to submit a response to the same.
It may be recalled that the said inquiry report of six cases of alleged extra judicial killings was submitted by the SC constituted commission on April 1 .
The deposition of witness of the petitioner and defense were held in Imphal and Delhi respectively.
The two member bench comprise of Justice Patnayak and Justice Khalifulla.
The next hearing has been fixed for August 6 .
