WW-II artefacts to be handed over to relevant authority

Imphal, January 02 2014:
One of the fighter aircraft's part which was recovered on December 29 by an expedition team will be handed to the State Government authority.
The fighter aircraft, which perhaps belonged to the Royal Bristish Air Force, is believed to have carshed during the World War II .
The 'Discovery Expedition' team was led by Surendra Soraisam, Principal, Wood-Stalk School and four member of the Kounu Lairembi Thougal Lup led by Nobin dicovered the engine's part at Kounu Mountain range.
Villagers of Kangsakhul had initially refused the team to take away the aircraft's part since the object was found within the village's territory and the team did not take their prior consent to lead the expedition.
However, the matter was resolved after a meeting was held between the Kangsakhul Youth Club and the expedition team where they agreed to hand over the part to the State authority.
