Imphal, February 01 2023: The 4-day training programme on Integrated Farming System organised jointly by the Federation of Civil Society Organisations (FOCS) Manipur and Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Imphal East concluded today.

FOCS in a press release informed that the training programme is a part of the society's ongoing developmental programmes to enhance the social status and economy of the State.

During the training programme, subject experts and scientists spoke on the topics of mushroom cultivation, vermicomposting and organic manure and scientific fish farming in Manipur.

A total of 92 trainees from different districts namely Imphal East, Imphal West, Thoubal, Chandel, Bishnupur, Tengnoupal and from Cachar district of Assam participated in the training programme.

As a part of the valedictory function, certificates were distributed to the trainees.
