Huri Golmei inaugurates market shed at Rangkhung village

Noney, December 30 2021: Huri Golmei, BJP intending candidate of 53-Tamenglong AC and state executive member BJP Manipur Pradesh on Thursday inaugurated Rangkhung Market Shed at Rangkhung village in Noney district The inaugural programme was attended by Kaniangmei Riamei, ADC Member and Village Authority/Peih/Youth leaders of Rangkhung Villages.

Speaking on the occasion, Huri Golmei assured the gathering that if he wins the upcoming election would focus on women empowerment, alternative arrangements of Jhum cultivation especially for Tamenglong and Noney District, education sector, medical care, transportation and connectivity.

It may be mentioned that Rangkhung Market Shed was donated by Huri Golmei, with an aim to uplift the socio and economic condition of the people.

The construction was carried out by Kalanchong Kamei, special contractor, Tribeni Private Limited.

The people of Rangkhung village also extended their gratitude to Huri Golmei and Kalanchong Kamei for constructing the much needed market shed at the right time.

The villagers also mentioned that the market shed would provide livelihood to the people, especially the women folk of Rangkhung.

During the programme, R Chamei, khullakpa Rangkhung village delivered the welcome address and assisted in presenting gifts to the special dignitaries.

Thonimei Kamei, pastor of Rangkhung-1 Baptist Church offered a dedication prayer for the market shed.

The event concluded with the vote of thanks by Chunkeilung Malangmei, Peih member and closing prayer led by Kaningpan Thaimei, pastor Rangkhung-2 Baptist Church.
