Medical Helpline for ILP Movement provides assistance

Imphal, July 30 2015:
The Medical Helpline for ILP Movement has provided medical assistance to 12 persons who sustained injuries in ILPS movement yesterday, the last day of the 38 hours bandh imposed by the JAC against the killing of S Robinhood.
According to a statement, the 12 persons sustained injuries while joining different forms of protest including confrontations with security personnel.
At the same time, four organisations have also extended monetary aid to the Helpline today.
Nongpok Leingak Apunba Nupi Lup, Wangkhei Meihoubam has extended monetary aid of Rs 10,000 to the helpline while Pundongbam Women Development Society, IE, Lamlai AC and Kongba Kshetri Mayai Leikai Nupi Chaokhat Thourang Lup have extended Rs 2000 each to the Helpline.
Kongba Nongthombam Leikai Apunba Meeyamgi has extended monetary aid of Rs 1500 to the Helpline, according to the statement.
At the same time, KBM Medicos also provided medicines for treatment of the injured persons yesterday.
Inviting the contribution of concerned individuals and organisations, the statement added that the Helpline can be contacted through Mobile Nos 9615673904 and 9774836063 in case any medical assistance is required in connection with the ongoing ILPS movement.
