Imphal, November 29 2024: The Coordinating Committee on Manipur Integrity (COCOMI) has said that they will launch a campaign across the State to unite the people and make them aware of what actually has been going on in Manipur from the first week of December.

Speaking to the media at Lamphelpat today, COCOMI co-ordinator Thokchom Somorendro said that the crisis in Manipur which is orchestrated by the Indian Government is becoming more and more complex and destructive.

The Opposition and the ruling parties have also been politicising the issue in Manipur instead of working together in the interest of Manipur, he said.

Continuing that the MLAs and the frontal organisations of Kukis work with a single vision, Somorendro added that there, however, is no sense of unity among the Meiteis.

He said that people need to set aside all differences, leave behind all personal interests and work together to safeguard Manipur.
