Imphal, January 29 2013: The Manipur Film Development Corporation Ltd, in collaboration with Children's Film Society, India, Mumbai, will organise the 4th Children's Film Festival from January 31 to Feb 6 .

According to a statement, the festival would be organised at three venues, viz, MFDC Auditorium Imphal (Jan 31 to Feb 2); Indrani Talkies, Kakching (Feb 3&4) and Meena Talkies, Moirang (Feb 5&6) .

The inaugural function of the festival would be held on Jan 31 at MFDC Auditorium with Dr RK Nimai Singh, VC of MFDC and Commissioner of Art and Culture, and RK Bidur Singh, eminent film critic and national Awardee as the chief guest and president respectively.

Seven English films and one Manipuri film would be screened during the festival.

Announcing that no entry fee would be charged for viewing the films, the MFDC further informed interested school children and individuals to contact MFDC office for participation in the festival.
