Imphal, December 28 2013 : A two-day UGC-sponsored national seminar on 'processing and preservation of agro-based food products' hosted by S Kula Women's college, Kongkhampat (Nambol) got underway from today at the College's Indoor Hall.

The seminar is being organised in collaboration with SANA, a food production firm.

Inauguration programme of the seminar was held with Dean of School of Mathematical and Physical Sciences (MU) Prof m Dhaneshwar Singh and governing Body chairman of the host College ng Naba Singh as the chief guest and functional president respectively.

Additional Director (Univ & Hr Edn) Dr RK Yaiskul Singh, former Principal of S Kula Women's College Dr L Birendrakumar Singh, SANA proprietor T Sanajaoba Singh and the College Governing Body secretary S Budhachandra also attended the programme as the guests of honour.
