Teachers' training programme at ZEO Kpi ends in style

Kangpokpi, October 24 2019:
The five-day long integrated teachers' training programme on NISHTHA (National initiatives for School Heads' and Teachers' Holistic Advancement) ended in style in the presence of DC Kangpokpi.
The teachers' training programme was held at the Conference Hall of the office of the Zonal Education Officer, Kangpokpi.
The valedictory function was attended by Lalithambigai K, IAS, Deputy Commissioner, Kangpokpi as chief guest while Lhingneikim Kipgen, MES, ZEO Kangpokpi who is also the Nodal Officer NISHTHA, Kangpokpi attended as functional president.

ZEO Kangpokpi, Lhingneikim Kipgen, MES said that NISHTHA programme, organised by the SCERT and Samagra Shiksha, Government of Manipur, is a Nationwide programme giving capacity building training to 42,000,00 teachers in India.
She continued that the programme mainly focused on competency, higher order thinking skills based teaching learning, joyful learning and activity based teaching learning for both school heads and teachers.
The training programme was held under the leadership of Laimayum Rishianand Sharma, SRP-L who was assisted by 5 KRPs and 2 technical team.
Around 150 numbers of teachers under the administrative jurisdiction of Zonal Education Officer, Kangpokpi participated in the programme.
