CADA holds interactive session

An interactive discussion session on the topic of the harms caused by illicit substances was conducted today at Irilbung Kalika Lairembi Youth Club, Imphal East organised by Irilbung Kalika Coalition Against Drugs And Alcohol (CADA) Unit in association with Kalika Lairembi Women Welfare Association.
A press release issued by CADA today stated that the session was attended by Soram Pakpi, meira paibi member; Khamnam Sushila, Treasurer Kalika Lairembi Women Welfare Association and Hijam Priyokumar, president CADA as presidium members while Geetchandra Mangang, secretary general, CADA was present as resource person.
Geetchandra Mangang addressed the gathering and stated that in almost every household, the man and the woman of the house are habituated to alcohol and chewing paan but* ironically they want their children to grow up to be strong, healthy individuals while setting these bad examples.
He urged parents to give up their bad habits if they want to be a good influence on their children and raise them to be healthy, upstanding citizens.
