Imphal, October 22 2012: The Consultative meeting of the general public, Tribal Hohos, district frontal organisation leaders of Senapati, executives and advisors of Senapati District Consumers' Club, FPS Agents of three Assembly segments of Karong AC, Mao AC and Tadubi AC held on October 18 at MANEDA Hope Centre has taken serious note of the allegedly false and misleading press statement issued by the president and secretary of Mao AC FPS Agents Association.

In a statement, the SDCC said that the two in the statement hailed the DC of the district and staff of CAF and PD for effective delivery of PDS rice/sugar up to September, 2012, to cover up their misdeeds.

The case is under the scanner of the State Vigilance Department, said SDCC.

Representatives of Mao AC present at the October 18 meeting denied having received PDS rice/sugar for August and September 2011 and February 2012, added the statement.
