AR inaugurates newly constructed Community Hall in Thoubal

Imphal, March 21 2025:
Assam Rifles, under Operation Sadbhavana, inaugurated a newly constructed community hall at Khoirom village in Thoubal district of Manipur today.
According to a release issued by the IGAR (South), this initiative is aimed at enhancing local infrastructure and providing the community with a dedicated space for social gatherings, meetings and cultural events.
The event was attended by Kumar Singh, village chief of Khoirom, secretary Susin Singh, along with members M Inao, T Joykumar Singh, Joy Saikhom, officials from Assam Rifles and approx 74 villages.
The project underscores the commitment of Assam Rifles to community development and public welfare.
The construction of the facility is expected to benefit the villagers by fostering social cohesion and improving sanitation standards in the area.
Local residents and community leaders expressed their gratitude, acknowledging the continuous efforts of Assam Rifles in supporting rural development and strengthening civil-military relations.
