Imphal, February 21 2009: The identity of the remaining one slain UG out of the five killed in the February 18 morning gun fight between suspected armed cadres of NSCN (IM) and combined group of PREPAK and NNC at a spot in between Thanagom and Duithangjang across Khoupum Dam in Tamenglong district has also been established today.

He was one Wahengbam Romesh (21) s/o Rajo of Wangoi Wahengbam Leikai.

According to report, he left home on the last Ningol Chakkouba day and did not return home since then.

Earlier he was working as a handyman of a line bus.

The body has been handed over to the family members after post-mortem examination at the mortuary of RIMS Hospital today.
