Imphal, December 19 2021: The intending candidate from Naoriya Pakhanglakpa Assembly Constituency, RK Anand has appealed not to elect any representatives who has any form of criminal background.

He made the above statement while speaking at the inauguration of a poster campaign under the banner 'For a future with a vision, Please support RK Anand' at his residence at Kwakeithel Akham Leikai today.

The poster campaign has been organised by the Election Co-ordinating Committee Naoriya Pakhanglakpa Assembly Constituency under the themes 'Extensive Growth Development', 'Empower Women and Youth for Patriotism and Nationalism', 'Streamline the Public Scheme with focus on Food Security', 'Defend Human Rights and to Protect Indigenous people of Manipur' and 'Root out the Drug Menace' .

Expressing concern over the increase in the number of intending candidates who are trying to woo the voters through improper means by using money and muscle power, RK Anand appealed to the public to be cautious of such intending candidates and not to fall prey to their fake promises.

Further he appealed to all to elect eligible and honest representatives who will work earnestly for people's welfare setting aside personal gains.

Apart from the inauguration of the poster campaign, e-Shram cards were distributed to people from poor and needy households of the constituency.
