ADC Sadar Hills Chairman inaugurates several development projects in Keithelmanbi DCC

Kangpokpi, September 19 2018: Chairman of Sadar Hills Autonomous District Council, Kangpokpi inaugurated several development activities constructed under 14thFinance Commission in 7 Keithelmanbi District Council Constituency today.

The ADC Sadar Hills Chairman also inaugurated the additional classroom constructed by Lamminthang Kipgen, member ADC Sadar Hills, under 14th Finance Commission in the presence of the local MDC, village authority Chairman, local church Pastor, teaching and non-teaching staffs of Keithelmanbi Junior High School.

The additional classrooms inaugurated by the ADC Sadar Hills Chairman were dedicated by Thangkai Sitlhou, Pastor Keithelmanbi B/C TBA.

The inaugural ceremony was attended by Haokholal Hangshing, Chairman ADC Sadar Hills as chief guest and Thangkai Sitlhou, Pastor Keithelmanbi B/C TBA as Minister while Keithelmanbi VA Chairman, Dehlam Lhouvum and the local MDC Lamminthang Kipgen attended the ceremony as functional President and guest of honour respectively.

Speaking at the inaugural ceremony, ADC Sadar Hills Chairman, Haokholal Hangshing expressed happiness to the enthusiastic and generous contribution extended by the local MDC and the school Headmaster to revive Keithelmanbi Junior High School which was on the verge of obsolete some time back.

He continued that departments or institutions depend on the custodians such as Head of the Department, Headmaster or Headmistress and maximum cooperation and support of the local people while adding that teachers have a great role in the development of the school and improvement of the children as well.

He further exhorted the teaching staffs of Keithelmanbi Junior High School to be passionate about their profession in order to bring out the inner quality of the children.

The ADC Sadar Hills Chairman accompanied by the local MDC Lamminthang Kipgen also inspected Inter-Village Road at Keithelmanbi Ward No 3 and 9.They also inspected the waiting shed constructed under 14th Finance Commission.

Later, Haokholal Hangshing also inaugurated Keithelmanbi Village Authority Court building located near Keithelmanbi playground in the presence of local MDC Lamminthang Kipgen, Keithelmanbi VA Chairman Dehlam Lhouvum, members of Keithelmanbi Women Association and Keithelmanbi Youth Association apart from other village elders and church leaders.
