Chief Minister leaves for Delhi

Imphal, November 18 2011:
To ascertain the facts of the proposed Supra State Body for Nagas and also to highlight Manipuri people's strong objection to the proposal, Chief Minister O Ibobi left Imphal for New Delhi where he would call on Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh, Union Home Minister P Chidambaram and UPA Chairperson Sonia Gandhi.
An official source informed that the Chief Minister would make it clear before the Prime Minister, Home Minister and the UPA Chairperson that the proposal for Naga Supra State body would never be accepted by Manipuri people.
The exact date for the proposed Prime Minister's visit to Manipur may also be finalised during the meeting, added the source.
