MSC/CPI condemns CM Biren's remark, demands apology

Manipur State Council Communist Party of India (MSC/CPI) has strongly condemned the Chief Minister's remark claiming that Manipur would have fallen into total anarchy without Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah.
The Chief Minister made the statement during the Vijay Diwas celebration held yesterday at 1st Manipur Rifles banquet hall.
Not only has the mighty Indian Government failed to resolve the conflict in Manipur, it cannot even trace the whereabouts of Laishram Kamalbabu who went missing from an Army camp at Leimakhong, said a press release issued by Th Robindro Singh, office secretary, Manipur State Council Communist Party of India: At a time when voices from different quarters from the State and beyond have requested the Prime Minister to pay a visit to the State, only to fall on deaf ears, the Chief Minister's statement is unacceptable and he should tender an apology, offer a clarification before the public and withdraw his statement, said the Manipur State Council Communist Party of India statement.
Manipur State Council Communist Party of India also condemned the Union Home Minister's statement attributing the Manipur violence to an "ethnic clash" during an interview with Aaj Tak and accused him of speaking with forked tongues.
