Imphal, December 17 2013: The 22nd Imphal Book Fair being held at Hapta Kangjeibung recorded a healthy attendance today.

A good number of students, parents, young and old alike came to the fair and browsed through the books.

One stall which attracted maximum number of people was that of the Leirik Vocational and Training Centre (LVTC) where e-books in the form of DVDs and CDs for standard VII to XII are put on sale.

Speaking to this reporter, LVTC director I Gandhajit said that e-education is the latest trend in formal schooling across the world.

Interacting with this reporter, many distributors were of the opinion that the number of visitors is greater this year as compared to the last edition of Imphal Book Fair.

Some other distributors suggested that there should be greater publicity in order to draw the maximum number of people.
