Imphal, November 15 2010:
25 BRTF of Project Sewak constructed a 140-feet bailey bridge over Luckchao river and dedicated to the Nation on November 13 .
The bridge has now connected Thanghung Minou, Chalson Tengnoupal, Tibongmol and Betuk villages to Moreh town, said a BRTF press release.
In the absence of this bridge, the villagers had to use foreign soil to come to Moreh town specially during rainy season when Luckchao river is in spate.
BRO expressed gratitude to all CPLs who worked day and night to complete the task and 31 Assam Rifles and villagers for their moral support in the construction of the bridge.
