Imphal, September 14 2024: Brahmacharimayum Amusana Devi, recipient of National Florence Nightingale Award 2024, was given a warm welcome at the Imphal International Airport by Celin Digital and Bahujana Sahitya Academy (National Committee of India) on Saturday.

Brahmacharimayum Amusana Devi, a Lady Health Volunteer (LHV) of Manipur, received the prestigious National Florence Nightingale Award 2024 from President Droupadi Murmu at Rashtrapati Bhawan on Wednesday, said a release issued by BSA.

Amusana is among 15 nursing professionals who received the award instituted by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare in the year 1973 as a mark of recognition for the meritorious services rendered by the nurses and nursing professionals to society.

Dr Phanjoubam Lanajit Singh, chairman of Celin Digital and Manipur State president of BSA also took part in the event held at Imphal Airport.
