Death of Hatneikim: Third public meet held

Imphal, March 14 2016: The third public meeting convened by the JAC against the mysterious death of Hatneikim Zou held today at Manipur Press Club has strongly demanded re-conduct of post mortem on the body Hatneikim by constituting a team of not less than three specialist doctors.

According to the resolutions of the meeting which were made available to the press, the meeting resolved to demand a judicial enquiry into the matter.

It also demanded that a FIR be lodged at Bishnupur PS within two days.

The JAC in collaboration with civil society organisations of the State will intensify agitation to meet justice, it said.

The meeting was attended by JAC members, activists and representatives of various social organisation.
