Imphal, July 13 2016: The JAC against the death of Md Nausat has demanded the authority to punish the culprit involved in the killing of Md Nausat of Khergao Makha Leikai.

JAC convenor Md Kabir Khan said that late Md Nausat was found dead on April 2, 2016 inside his Hyundai Verna car in a paddy field at Lilong Nganglou.

One Md Sajis Alam s/o Md Mijan of Khergao Yumhkhaibam Leikai surrendered himself before Lilong police station and confessed that he along with one Md Nasir Khan of Keirao Makting Awang Leikai had killed Nausat.

Nasir Khan was arrested on June 30, 2016 by Imphal East police, However, he was granted bail on July 9 .

A memorandum was submitted to the DGP, local MLA and SP regarding the matter.

Nasir was again arrested by police yesterday.

JAC convenor Md Kabir Khan said that fitting punishment should be given to the culprits or else intense agitation would be launched.
