Awareness / field verification of EVP reaches college students at Maram

A team of SDO/BDO, Mao-Maram Sub-Division organised an awareness cum filed verification of Electors Verification program at Don Bosco College, Maram.
PP Ronald, SDO/BDO, Mao-Maram said that the program puts its focus on college going students to check if they have been left out from the verification.
Earlier, the District Election Office, Senapati had launched Electors Verification Program (EVP) in connection with the Special Summary Revision (SSR), 2020 at the conference hall of DC office, Senapati as directed by the Election Commission of India and CEO, Manipur.
PP Ronald highlighted the program to about 3,000 students of the college wherein he said that an elector can bring any of the valid documents including Indian passport, driving license, Aadhar card, identity card for Government or semi-Government officials, bank passbook for verification of their particulars and the particulars of their family members in the Electoral Roll via the Voter Helpline Mobile app or NSVP portal (www.nsvp.in) or through Common Service Centres (CSC) available at different places of the district or Voter Facilitation Centre at ERO office at Senapati.
Field verification was also conducted for students of the college by three CSCs operating at Maram bazaar and Maram Centre after a formal gathering of students of the college.
