Imphal, June 12 2021: The Federation of Haomee has expressed strong resentment over the alleged killing of one Mangboilal of Chalwa village by personnel of 44 AR .

The federation in a statement, said the killing of Mangboilal allegedly by a Major of 44 AR can be considered an attempt to disturb peace and create unrest.

The State Government should take up all necessary measures to avert similar incidents in the future, said the federation while demanding a thorough and fair investigation into the case.

The State should also constitute a high level inquiry committee to ascertain whether there was involvement of KRA in the incident and ensure that all involved in the incident are awarded befitting punishment.
