Imphal, May 12 2017: Governor Dr Najma Heptulla has expressed happiness at the agreement signed by the JAC Against Anti Tribal Bills with the State Government on May 10 and has praised the decision of the JAC to take all the dead bodies and perform their final rites, conveyed a press release issued today by the Governor's Secretariat. She appreciated the State Government and the leaders of the JAC and its supporters for resolving the long pending issue and further congratulated Chief Minister N Biren Singh for his efforts expressing confidence that the State Government would continue to look after all matters concerning the State with the importance and sympathy they deserve, it added.
