Seminar on "Depiction of Indian Knowledge System in Vivekanda's Literature" held

A one day National Seminar on the topic "The Depiction of Indian Knowledge System in Vivekananda's Literature" was held today at Radha Madhava Adarsh Sanskrit Mahavidyalaya Nambol.
Prof Sudeshna Bhattacharya, Chairman, Managing Committee, RMASM presided over the inaugural ceremony, which was attended by Swami Vidyadhishananda.
Vice-Principal, Ramakrishna Mission, Imphal, Dr Kaushik Malakar, Associate Professor, Shri Sitaram Vaidic Adarsh Sanskrit Mahavidyalaya, Kolkata and Dr Budheshwar Sarangi, Principal, RMASM among others.
The seminar held in hybrid mode had three technical sessions and was participated by 21 scholars from across India.
Prof Raghavendra Bhatta, Prof Kuldeep Sharma, Prof Chandradhwaja Majhi chaired the 1 st, 2nd and 3rd technical sessions respectively wherein special lectures were delivered by Dr Runima Sharma, Dr Bhaskar Chatterjee, Dr Sunita Berman and Dr Palash Santra as resource persons.
The participants and scholars retraced the legacy of Swami Vivekananda and how his life, teachings and preachings continue to influence the generations in all walks of life.
The seminar dwelt in length on the relevance of Swami Vivekananda in light of the Indian Knowledge Systems as is envisioned in NEP 2020.The Valedictory ceremony was presided over by Prof Sudeshna Bhattacharya, Chairman, Managing Committee, RMASM and graced by Prof Bhagirathi Nanda as the guest of honour.
Certificates were also distributed to the participants of the seminar.
